All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) to continue anti-CAA protest

JORHAT: The All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) reiterated its demand to scrap the controversial Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019. Jul Khound, the publicity secretary of the AASU central committee, on Wednesday said that the AASU would continue its stir against the CAA till the Act was scrapped. He also dismissed rumours that senior leaders of the student body would be joining political parties in order to make their foray into politics.
