All Assam Students Union stages protest against CAA in Demow

DEMOW: After the appeal of the All Assam Students' Union (AASU), Sivasagar District Committee, the Demow Regional Students' Union formed a human chain in Demow Chariali at NH-37 road in protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA), 2019 on Friday. The activists of Demow Regional Students' Union shouted various slogans against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and demanded to scrap the CAA.

GAURISAGAR: The regional units of AASU Gaurisagar, Dikhowmukh, Hatighuli, Charing and Jhanji in Sivasagar district jointly organized a human chain on NH-37 near ASTC bus stand, Gaurisagar on Friday to protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA). The activists of AASU shouted various slogans against CAA and the State Government.
