Anamika Tiwari takes charge as new Morigaon Deputy Commissioner

JAGIROAD/MORIGAON: Anamika Tiwari, a 1997 batch Assam Civil Service (ACS) officer, on Friday joined as the new Commissioner of Morigaon district. She was previously the Labour Commissioner of the Government of Assam. On Friday she attended an introductory meeting with the officers and employees of the District Commissioner’s Office at the meeting room of the office. She stressed working with a sound mindset and said that the transparent administration system and the developmental initiatives of the administration with the cooperation of the people will surely help the district to move to the top. The new DC stressed the need for the district administration and every government department to work in coordination to solve every problem, big or small, in the district.  After joining, the officer visited the District Commissioner’s office and offices of various departments on the premises and interacted with the officers and employees.
