Army Public School (APS) Tezpur conducts Annual Sports Day

TEZPUR:Annual Sports Day was organized by Army Public School, Tezpur. The most anticipated event of the year commenced with the arrival of the distinguished chief guest Maj Gen S Sajjanhar, COS HQ 4 Corps and Sangeeta Sajjanhar, ZonalVice-President, AWWA HQ 4 Corps.

The event commenced with the welcome song followed by the Annual Report by the Principal. After hoisting the flag by the chief guest, the marching contingents showcased their remarkable performance. The students who excelled in the Board examination 2021-22, were felicitated by Sangeeta Sajjanhar, Zonal

Vice-President, AWWA HQ 4 Corps. The coveted COAS Trophy for Academic Excellence 2022, which has been conferred for the fourth consecutive year, was handed over to the Principal by the chief guest. In his speech, the chief guest expressed his happiness at the remarkable performance of the school and urged all stakeholders to contribute for the development of the institution. It was followed by various colourful sports and cultural events in which mass participation was observed.

Brig S K Vohra, Chairman, APS Tezpur given the prizes to the winners of all inter-house sports and co-curricular activities.
