Art teacher Ajay Dey of Golaghat district honoured with 'Bharat Bhushan'
Ajay Dey, an art-and-drawing teacher of Khanikar Gaon in Sarupathar of Golaghat district, has set another record in drawing and fine arts.

SARUPATHAR: Ajay Dey, an art-and-drawing teacher of Khanikar Gaon in Sarupathar of Golaghat district, has set another record in drawing and fine arts. He has been recently honoured with the prestigious 'Bharat Bhushan Award-2021 for the Best Artist'. The award was presented by the NAHF (National Anti Harassment Foundation) registered by the Government of India.
Mentionably, a few months ago, Ajay Dey and his daughter had set the record in the 'India Book of Records' by drawing various pencil sketches and oil paintings. Later speaking to "The Sentinel" Ajay Dey said, "I am thankful to the State and Central governments for choosing me for this prestigious award. I will continue to train interested youths in drawing and fine arts.
