Artiste Rajkumar Talukdar feeds monkeys and stray dogs

PATHSALA: Popular actor Rajkumar Talukdar distributed food among monkeys and stray dogs. Both stray dogs and monkeys are facing acute food shortage during the lockdown period as people have stopped visiting temples and shops and business establishments are closed.

The actor also distributed food among the poor in Bajali area. “'The lockdown has adversely affected many lives in more ways than one,” he said. Rajkumar Talukdar, a resident of Pathsala town in Barpeta district, recently took the initiative to feed monkeys and stray dogs at Basistha Temple in Guwahati. “This is a tough time for everyone and we must come forward to help each other as well as the animals,” said the actor.
