Arunachali liquor seized two six-wheeler trucks in Biswanath Chariali

Biswanath Chariali: Based on secret information that Arunachali liquor would be transported illegally early morning on Tuesday from Banderduwa via Gohpur, Helem in two trucks without any valid documents, police carried out checking near Helem Police Station in Biswanath district and managed to seize two six-wheeler trucks bearing numbers AS-01 LC-5714 and AS-01 HC-0096.

During the checking of the intercepted trucks, each truck was found to be carrying 300 cartons of Arunachali liquor without any document. Police also arrested the registered owners of the truck, Md Parman Ali (28) of Baghargaon, Boko, driver Md Mokibur Ali (26) of Baghargaon, Boko and Md Nur Hussain Ali of Bamunbori, Mukalmuwa and Md GulzarAli (20) of Baghargaon, Boko. Interrogation is on to arrest other accused. Police had apprehended one truck bearing registration no. AS-07AC-3188 and recovered 90 cartons of Arunachali liquor being transported to Tezpur without any documents from the truck a few days back.
