Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Parishad Demands Repair of Road in Tinsukia

TINSUKIA: The Tinsukia district committee of Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Parishad (AJYP) has expressed deep anguish over the deplorable condition of Tipong Lal Pahar Pothar Road under Lekhapani Gaon Panchyat.

The vital road connecting four villages remained unrepaired for past several years leading to extreme inconvenience for school children and villagers. Almost the entire road gets submerged even after a brief shower. The Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Parishad (AJYP) in a memorandum to the PWD Minister, which was submitted through the SDO (Civil) Margherita, demanded immediate renovation of the road so as to make it suitable for easy movement of traffic and pedestrians.
