DHUBRI: The 25th Annual Rotanti Kali Puja and devotional song programme was held at the Dhubri Cremation Ground Temple on Tuesday
The event, which has been taking place for the past 25 years, was inaugurated by Bipul Sarkar, the main organizer of the temple committee. The programme featured various devotional songs and cultural performances by local artists.
The event began with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by a series of devotional songs and cultural performances. The participating artists included Gauri Bose, Soma Pal, Shraddha Ghosh, and many others. The temple committee honored the participating artists with flowers, gamochas, and mementos. In addition to the devotional song programme, a large-scale painting competition was also held on January 25.
The winners of the competition were awarded prizes by the temple committee members, including Gopal Bhattacharya, Ashok Singh, Basu Chatterjee, and others.
On Wednesday, khichadi (prasad) distributed among the thousands of devotees who made a long beeline to take the khichidi.
