Nehru Yuva Kendra hosts 5-day border area Youth Exchange programme in Dhubri District

DHUBRI: Dhubri District Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK) in collaboration with Advance Education & Development (AED) Foundation organized a five-day residential training programme - Border Area Youth Exchange Programme - under the umbrella of MY Bharat, which got underway from Monday.

The programme was inaugurated by Legislator Bilasipara (East) Samshul Huda, Bilasipara Co-District Commissioner Srishti Singh, Dhubri District Youth Officer of  NYK Himanshu Kumar, and Chairman of AED Foundation Sarif Ahmed. The training programme for Border Area Youth Exchange will continue till January 31. Altogether, 20 participants from four different states, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Bihar, are taking part in the Border Area Youth Exchange programme.

During the training programme, the participants would be given exposure to different aspects of Assam including culture, history, and heritage. Apart from these, the participating youths would also be taken to field visits.

Talking to The Sentinel, Dhubri District Youth Officer of NYK Himanshu Kumar told this scribe that youths would be trained on various and diverse topics including Culture and Tradition of Assam, Business Start Up Strategies, Youth Leadership & Skill Development, Social Media, Online Game Addiction, Pros and Cons of Artificial Intelligence, Role Of Youth in Community Development, Promoting Constitutional Values & Nationalism, and Prevention Of Cancer & Positive Lifestyle.
