Assam: 3rd phase of Health Service Festival concludes in Nagaon district

NAGAON: The third phase of the Health Service Festival has been successfully completed in Nagaon district, along with the rest of the State. The festival, which began on December 3, concluded on December 5.

During the first day of the festival, 32 health service centres were evaluated; followed by 33 on the second day, while 30 on the third day. The evaluation process involved joint secretaries, directors, and other officials from various parts of the state, who participated as external evaluators.

On the first day of the festival, MLA Rupak Sarma visited several health centres under the Burhagohain Block PHC and extended his best wishes to everyone involved. Additionally, district-level IPS, IAS officers, doctors from Nagaon Medical College and Hospital, and other officials participated in the evaluation process, assessing a total of 95 health service centres and successfully concluding the third phase of the Health Service Festival.

The Nagaon Health Department expressed its gratitude to all the evaluators who contributed to the successful completion of the evaluation process.
