Assam: 62nd Foundation Day of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Celebrated at PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya, Goalpara

GOALPARA: The 62nd Foundation Day of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya, Goalpara on Saturday.

The event began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and an inspiring address by principal Shiv Prakash Sharma. He highlighted the achievements of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan over the years. Mrinal Neupane, CJM, Goalpara district court, inspired everyone with his presence as the chief guest of the function.

During the programme, both students and teachers delivered impactful speeches on the journey of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, its accomplishments, and its contribution to the field of education. Under the New Education Policy 2020, several activities related to Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) were also conducted.

The ceremony saw active participation from students, parents, and members of the Vidyalaya Management Committee (VMC) in front of whom certificates were awarded to Cubs for completing the third-stage testing camp under the Bharat Scouts and Guides programme.
