Assam: 7000 delegates to participate in ABSU’s 57th annual conference

KOKRAJHAR: The leaders of the All-Bodo Students Union (ABSU) and the Reception Committee have been working in a hectic manner in the field to organize the historic 57th annual conference of the union at Bodofa Fwthar, Dotma in Kokrajhar district scheduled to be held from March 13 to 16 while different subcommittees are in finishing touches of their respective works.

In a press meet held at Bodofa Nwgwr today, ABSU President Dipen Boro said that 7000 delegates from 22 district committees of the ABSU from over 100 unit committees including universities and colleges will participate in the historic conference. He said that 5000 volunteers have been mobilized to maintain discipline and smooth holding of the historic conference. He also said that there would be competitions of sports and literature while Sahitya Akademy Award winners would be honoured.
