JAMUGURIHAT: An add-on course on entrepreneurship development was inaugurated today at Biswanath College under the aegis of the Department of Economics, stated a press release. Dr Chinta Mani Sharma, Principal of the College, inaugurated the course in a meeting chaired by Dr Karabi Gogoi, Head of the Dept of Economics. Dr Sharma praised the department for taking this initiative and expressed hope that the entrepreneurship development course would help the students in selecting a right way of living in the near future.

He said that in the present day context, it is better to be a job provider than a job seeker. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Naresh Thakur, Co-ordinator, IQAC, Rajeswar Bodo, President, BCTU, and Dr Bhaben Kalita, Head, Dept of Education, motivated the students to do entrepreneurial activities and live a meaningful life. Dr Karabi Gogoi explained the structure of the course and the future steps that will be taken during the course.

The meeting was anchored by Ashomi Kalita, Assistant Professor. Chandramoni Sharma. Minakshi Gohain, Dr Khagen Saikia, Dr Heema Rani Borah, Bhagyashree Gogoi, and a host of students attended the meeting.
