Guwahati: Parinita Bora, a 25-year-old air hostess hailing from Assam's Nagaon was found hanging from the ceiling of her rental house in Hebbal Kempapura in the early hours of Tuesday (August 11), reports said.

As per reports, Parinita took the drastic step when her husband Vishal had gone out for a smoke around 2 am in the night and their one-year-old son was sleeping in the same room. The Assam girl's body was reportedly found by a domestic help who stays with the family.

A preliminary investigation by the police revealed that Bora committed suicide hanged herself in the bedroom after fighting with her husband on Monday night. As per reports, the couple had been quarreling over petty issues which then spiraled into major differences.

Bangalore police told media that they have not found any suicide note in the house and suspected that the Nagaon girl took the decision to commit suicide due to financial troubles as well as marital issues amid the extended lockdown.

Parinita and Vishal reportedly got married 3 years ago after the former, who was working with a private airline, fell in love with the latter, a supervisor at a retail grocery shop.

Bangaluru police, after recovering the body, informed the girl's parents and family members of Parinita flew to Bengaluru after getting the news.

This shocking incident has created a pall of gloom in her hometown in middle Assam's Nagaon district.

Parinita, who was the only child of late Sarat Bora and Rita Bora of Panigaon Chayyali, did her schooling from the Nagaon Kendriya Vidyalaya. She later studied at a private institute in Guwahati and joined Air Asia as a flight assistant.
