Assam Assembly Elections: General Observers reach Tezpur

TEZPUR: In view of the ensuing general elections to the Assam Legislative Assembly, the Election Commission of India has appointed Dinesh T. Waghmare, IAS, as General Observer for 73- Tezpur LAC. Reaching Tezpur on Monday evening, the Observer attended a video conference with Special Observers from CEO, Assam office held with DCs/ DEOs and SPs of all districts of the State, stated a press release.
