Guwahati: A two-day awareness-cum-photo exhibition programme, organized by the Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Field Office, Diphu, commenced on Monday at Jakhalabandha. The exhibition, themed “Viksit Bharat @ 2047,” aligns with the vision of a developed India by the year 2047. The primary objective of the exhibition is to raise awareness among the public about the Central Government’s vision for a prosperous and developed India by 2047. It aims to showcase the various schemes, policies and initiatives introduced by the government since 2014, highlighting the progress made towards the goal of building a “Viksit Bharat.”

The programme was inaugurated by Liza Talukdar, Co-District Commissioner, in the presence of  Rajnish Sarma, Circle Officer, Jakhalabandha Circle and Silpa Dutta, Block Development Officer and other significant elected public representatives.

Smita Saikia, Media and Communication Officer, Field Office, Tezpur, addressed the gathering, elaborating on the objectives of the exhibition. She emphasized that the exhibition serves as an important platform to spread awareness about the various government initiatives and achievements aimed at creating a prosperous and developed nation.

The exhibition features over 40 photo panels, showcasing the government’s key achievements and efforts towards the development of the country. These panels offer a visual representation of the remarkable progress made across various sectors, giving the public a comprehensive view of the country’s journey towards 2047, stated a press release.
