Assam Bachao Abhiyan by Congress initiates in Morigaon

MORIGAON: As part of the Assam Bachao Abhiyaan, the Morigaon Congress party led by Rakibul Hussain on Wednesday interacted with media persons and businessmen ahead of the assembly election. The Congress party led by MLA Rakibul Hussain, MLA Dr Najrul Islam and former MLA Junjunali Barua said that the tribal communities like tea tribes were joining the Congress in large numbers. The Congress leaders slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for religious polarization.

Earlier, MLA Rakibul Hussain, MLA Dr Najrul Islam and former MLA Junjunali Barua interacted with the small businessmen and street vendors. Addressing media persons, Rakibul Hussain said that small businessmen were facing financial crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the apathy of the government.
