Assam: BJP holds discussion on foreign policy

Guwahati: The State BJP conducted a discussion on 'Added Security and Foreign Policy on India' here today in connection with the nationwide programme on 'Service, Good Governance and Welfare of the Poor'. The programme is underway in connection with the completion of eight years by the BJP Government at the Centre.

The speakers said that the world now had a different view of India. India influenced the world with its foreign policy prioritizing domestic interests –politically, militarily and diplomatically.

State party president Bhabesh Kalita, general secretary Diplu Ranjan Sarma, Associate Professor Dr Gyanendra Barman, MP Pabitra Margherita, and others spoke.
