Assam: Body identified as Tirtha Bahadur Dahal found in northern part of Sootea

A body was recovered from Hatishala in the northern part of Sootea on Sunday morning. The body is identified as that of Tirtha Bahadur Dahal (58), a resident of Major Aati village of Gorpal on the southern part of Sootea.

JAMUGURIHAT: A body was recovered from Hatishala in the northern part of Sootea on Sunday morning. The body is identified as that of Tirtha Bahadur Dahal (58), a resident of Major Aati village of Gorpal on the southern part of Sootea.

According to information, local residents of the area spotted the body on the road to Hatishala and immediately informed the Sootea police. A team of police reached the site and recovered the body. The family sources added that Tirtha Bahadur went missing last evening. His body was sent for an autopsy. Police suspected he was hit by a commuting vehicle at night.
