BOKAKHAT: In light of the ongoing tension along the India-Pakistan border, the Bokakhat Thana Committee of the Assam Village Defence Organization has made a significant announcement on Saturday. The committee will donate Rs 2 lakh to the Prime Minister’s Defence Fund.

Additionally, the organization declared that each member of the Village Defence Organization will donate one unit of blood for the treatment of brave soldiers injured during retaliatory operations against Pakistan.

This decision was announced during a meeting held at the Bokakhat Police Station. The decision was formally declared by the committee’s president, Mridul Bora, and vice president, Rajesh Jayaswal.
