BISWANATH CHARIALI: Brisk preparations are going on in the Biswanath district for the third phase of Gunotsav, 2025 to be held from February 5 to 7. According to information, as many as 1,00,562 students from 1,084 schools will take part in the educational exercise. Altogether 1084 Nodal Teachers and 105 Liaison Officers have been engaged for smooth conduct of the programme.
Many VVIP external evaluators including MLAs Utpal Borah, Pramod Borthakur, Padma Hazarika, and Diganta Ghatowar, Hari Prasad Borah, Joint Secretary, Handloom, Textiles and Sericulture Department, Pranati Majumdar, Joint Secretary, Agriculture Department, Sushinita Kakati, Joint Secretary, Transport Department and Director, Inland Water Transport (additional), Roji Barman, Forest Ranger, Kamrup East Division, Basistha, Guwahati, Prasanta Borkakati, Joint Secretary, Fishery Department and MD, Assam Fishery Development Corporation Limited, and others will be present at the concerned schools to monitor the educational progress and other activities of the students.
