KOKRAJHAR: Chief of BTC Pramod Boro on Sunday termed the Union Budget tabled by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman a ‘Viksit Bharat Budget.’

Boro said that the Union Budget, unveiled by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was a transformative blueprint for India’s future. He also said that the significant tax reforms, including zero income tax up to Rs 12 lakh, will empower the middle class, boost consumption, and stimulate economic growth.

The CEM of BTC said that the progressive Union Budget also emphasized infrastructure development, agriculture and innovation, paving the way for a prosperous and self-reliant India. “In the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), we anticipate accelerated development and enhanced opportunities for our people,” he said, adding that he was thankful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his visionary leadership in steering towards a Viksit Bharat.
