Guwahati: Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma has offered his thanks to the citizens of Assam for trusting the newly launched Mission Basundhara which offers land-related services online. 

Mission Basundhara is an online portal developed by the Department of Revenue and Disaster Management under the Government of Assam. The online portal which offers land-related services was launched by the Chief Minister of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma on October 2, 2021, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. 

The citizens can log into the portal and apply for any land-related services. However, the last date of applying for the services is November 30, 2021.

Today, the online portal has received more than 25,000 applications in relation to land services.

The news was shared by CM Sarma on his official Twitter handle. He expressed his happiness and gratitude in a tweet that read, "My gratitude to citizens of Assam for reiterating your faith in the Government by stupendous response to Mission Basundhara. As of today, we've received over 25,000 applications for land related services. We shall dispose of all applications as per schedule."
