Silchar: Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday declared that if the Congress MP could prove that he had not visited Pakistan, then he would quit politics. Speaking with the mediapersons in Hailakandi, Sarma said, the government would reveal all the facts with authentic documents that Gogoi had visited Pakistan. Asked that the Congress MP had challenged him to prove the allegation, Sarma said, within the coming September, the government would place all the evidence before the people. “And if he (Gaurav Gogoi) can prove that he had not gone to Pakistan, then I will resign from politics”, Sarma said.
