Assam Cooperative Apex Bank customers facing inconvenience in Chapakhowa

TINSUKIA: The customers of the Assam Cooperative Apex Bank, Sadiya branch in Chapakhowa have been facing extreme inconvenience in the absence of the branch manager during the past six months after the previous branch manager was superannuated in August 2019. The new Branch Manager who was appointed attended the office for a few days and has remained absent since then. This has created a vacuum in the functioning of the bank. Significantly, the branch caters to a large number of farmers. These customers have been facing difficulties in getting benefits of government-sponsored schemes, particularly agricultural loan. The customers have urged upon the authority concerned for the immediate appointment of a branch manager.
