KOKRAJHAR: In a recent development, the Office of the District Magistrate, Kokrajhar, has issued an important update regarding the operations of the Daily Market and the Weekly Hut Bazar. Contrary to earlier instructions that had suggested the closure of these markets, it has now been decided that both the Daily Market and the Weekly Hut Bazar will remain open as usual on 17th February 2025.
The Kokrajhar Municipal Board has been instructed to let the markets operate without any interruptions, according to the new directive. This decision follows a review of the previous orders, as mentioned in order No. KMJ-7-2024/14.
The authorities have been notified and will take the required measures to keep things running smoothly. With the new order in effect, vendors and the public are asked to carry on with their regular activities on the specified day.
