DHUPDHARA: ‘DAMOL 5.0,’ a two-day photography exhibition organized by the Goalpara Photographic Society (GPS) at the Janamandir Cultural Hall in Dudhnoi in the Goalpara district, concluded today. The exhibition showcased over 100 photographs from various photographers.
The programme began on December 21 with the hoisting of the GPS flag by Benjamin Kaman, president of GPS. Later the exhibition was inaugurated by Navneet Mahanta, Superintendent of Police, Goalpara. The exhibition featured photographs in three categories: landscape, natural, and pictorial. In the exhibition, Nikon’s area manager, Kishore Kumar Kalita, demonstrated how their cameras can produce high-quality photographs. In the evening, a cultural program was held, where musicians performed with mouth organ, guitar, accordion, pad, mandolin, and harmonica.
