Assam: Demow youth serving in Indian Army dies

Numal Mech, a 31-year-old Indian Army soldier from Demow, passed away on Monday after battling blood cancer.

DEMOW: Numal Mech (31 years), the only son of Bipul Mech and Pratima Mech and an inhabitant of Rudakshabam Gaon under Maharani Gaon Panchayat of Demow constituency, who was a soldier in the Indian Army died on Monday. Mech was suffering from blood cancer.

Numal Mech was posted in South Africa on behalf of India and the United Nations. His body was brought to his residence by the Indian Army in Rudakshabam Gaon on Tuesday. His demise has been widely condoled in the area. The Indian Army paid honour, homage, and salute to Mech and their deepest condolence to the bereaved family.
