Assam: Dhekiajuli AASU unit pays tribute to late Runu Tamuli

DHEKIAJULI: On Wednesday, the Dhekiajuli local unit of All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) visited the residence of the Late Runu Tamuli, a resident of Tamuli Road, Dhekiajuli, to pay respect and offer condolence to the grieving family. ASSU Sonitpur District Education Secretary Shankar Das led the AASU team.

Runu Tamuli was a dedicated activist who actively participated in the movement to protect Assam’s identity. She was also deeply involved with various social and cultural organizations in Dhekiajuli, including the Dhekiajuli Lekhika Samaroh Samiti. Her contributions to society were widely recognized and appreciated.

During their visit, members of the AASU expressed their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and conveyed a message of mourning. They acknowledged Tamuli’s invaluable role in social activism and community welfare, emphasizing that her legacy would continue to inspire future generations.
