Assam: Former APDCL Employee Found Dead Under Mysterious Circumstances in Jorhat
GUWAHATI: In an unfortunate incident, a former employee of the Assam Power Distribution Corporation Limited (APDCL) was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Jorhat on Saturday morning.
As per reports, the deceased was found near the Meleng Pujarigaon. The deceased has been identified as Bhuban Bora, a former APDCL employee.
According to the deceased family, Bora went out to the market on Friday evening but did not return and his phone too was not available.
After his family failed to locate him searched for him all over the area and finally found him dead.
Immediately, the police were informed about the incident as there were injuries on the dead body.
Meanwhile, the family of the deceased suspects the incident to be a possible case of murder.
Earlier on March 11, the headmaster of 918 No Khumguri LP School under Kokrajhar police station, was allegedly murdered by unknown miscreants under mysterious circumstances on Thursday evening.
His body was recovered from the Sesapani jungle area with injury marks. Family sources said the headmaster of Khumguri LP School Berlao, Berthao Brahma went to the Fakiragram market on Wednesday evening and was missing since that evening. The next day, they lodged an FIR at Kokrajhar PS but on Thursday evening his body was found from the jungle near the Railway track in the Sesapani area.
An investigation is on to nab the culprits.
