GAURISAGAR: Bhula Nath Baruah, former assistant teacher of Gaurisagar H.S. Industrial Institute, who passed away on January 22, was remembered on the eve of his adyasharddhya held at his Gaurisagar residence recently. The program was anchored by Robin Saikia, Associate Professor of C.K.B. College, Teok. Recipient of the Pragya Siruomoni award and retired Principal of Gaurisagar Higher Secondary Industrial Institute, Tukheswar Borthakur spoke about the personality, life, and work of Bhula Nath Baruah. In his speech, he said that we do not want to remember the eternal truth of death in the illusory world even at the last moment of our lives. Noted educationist Borthakur also said that a person’s actions and behaviour reveal his inner self. I have never met a second person like Bhula Nath Baruah, who is kind, arrogant, dedicated, hard-working, and can take the right decisions at the right time. The event was attended by the founder principal of Gaurisagar Junior College Muhi Kant Nath, retired principals of Gaurisagar Higher Secondary Industrial Institute Dilip Kumar Neog and Rokheswar Gogoi, prominent writers Prasanta Kumar Neog,Jibon Krishna Goswami, Dr.Ranjit Kumar Baruah, principal, Dikhowmukh College, Pabitra Kumar Dutta, retired principal in charge, Dikhowmukh College, Mrinanka Saikia, president, Sivasagar Zila Karmachari Parishad, Jitu Dutta, Chief Secretary, Adhyatmik Yuva Sanmilan, Asom, Padum Kumar Saikia, president ,APCU,Sivasagar District Committee, Rajib Dutta and Padma Luchan Khanikor secretary and vice president, Gaurisagar Press Club , prominent businessman Barun Borah, Cultural activist Monuj Borah and others.
