DEMOW: The Demow Junior Commerce College, situated in Demow Dehajan, is the only Commerce stream prestigious educational institution in the Demow area. A farewell meeting was organized in the Demow Junior Commerce College today where Nripen Chandra Borah, Founder Subject Teacher of Demow Junior Commerce College, was accorded farewell.

In the farewell meeting, Jiten Kotoky, Vice-President of the governing body presided, and Haranath Bharali, Principal of Demow Junior Commerce College, anchored. Birinchi Gogoi, governing body member, Dimbeswar Changmai, retired employee, along with the dignitaries present in the farewell meeting recalled Nripen Chandra Borah’s 33 years (1992-2025) of contribution to teaching in the college. Nripen Chandra Borah was felicitated with a phulam gamosa, horai, citation, geeta, and bhagawat religious books from the Demow Junior Commerce College. In the farewell meeting, the governing body members, post graduate teachers of the college, dignitaries, and locals were present.
