Assam: Four peddlers arrested with drugs in Boko

BOKO: A team of police led by Kamrup District Additional Superintendent Kalyan Pathak seized drugs in 10 soap boxes from a Mahindra Bolero (AS01FR2311) bound for Mankachar from Guwahati on Wednesday afternoon. According to the police, 121 grams of heroin (drugs) with a market value of around Rs 1 crore were seized. Police arrested four drug peddlers Ali Hussain, Ebat Hussain, Akhinul Islam, and Nur Alam.

According to the police, all of them were living under Mankachar police station jurisdiction areas. Additional Superintendent of Police Kalyan Pathak said that the operation was conducted on a tip-off. Boko police started an investigation regarding the matter.
