GOLAGHAT: PM SHRI Bokial High School, one of the premier schools in Golaghat, is going to celebrate its Ex-Students’ Convention on March 21 and March 22.
The ex-student convention will be held with a two-day long programme. In this context, Headmaster of PM SHRI Bokial High School Jogen Chandra Gogoi and Assistant Teacher Dhruba Jyoti Saikia said that the preparations for the grand event are going on in full swing. In this regard, an organizing committing has been formed with Boishagu Kumar as President, Mukut Gogoi as Working President, Birinchi Kr Dutta, Umesh Bharali, and Ajanta Bora as vice- presidents, and Punyaswar Bora as Secretary along with different sub-committees.
On the first day, the programme is set to be started with the hoisting of the school flag and ex-students’ convention flag respectively by Jogen Chandra Gogoi, Head Teacher of Bokial High School and Boisagu Kumar, President of the organizing committee. Later, smriti tarpan, lighting of the lamp, plantation programme, unveiling of traditional museum, interaction with ex-students where forest man Padmashree Jadab Payeng will take part, will be done.
