In addition, the calendar features half-holidays at 1 PM for specific festivals besides a number of restricted holidays. This permits employees the flexibility to adjust the number of their observances. Educational and medical colleges can shape the holiday schedule to fit the needs of their academic calendars.

The full list emphasizes Assam's strong cultural richness and at the same time shows its alignment with national holidays. This enables the citizens to celebrate the state's traditions and plan individual or community activities accordingly.

The state government's comprehensive strategy will ensure that regional and cultural nuances are respected, while uniformity in observance will be maintained throughout Assam.
