Assam: Journalist Associations condole demise of Abdul Awal’s father

UDALGURI: Grief gripped the journalist fraternity and the local community following the demise of Hazrat Ali, father of Rauta Press Club President and Prag News journalist Abdul Awal. Hazrat Ali breathed his last at around 3:00 PM on June 20, while undergoing treatment at the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).

In a joint expression of condolence, the East Udalguri Press Club, Udalguri District Boro Journalists Association, and the APCU Udalguri District Committee conveyed their sympathies to journalist Abdul Awal and his bereaved family.

“We pray for eternal peace of the departed soul,” the journalist organizations said in a statement, offering prayers to the Almighty for strength and solace to the grieving family.
