GOALPARA: The PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya of Assam’s Goalpara district on Tuesday, along with over ten thousand Atal Tinkering Labs of the country, participated in the Mega Tinkering Day event. Tinkering Day is India’s largest ever school-based collective innovation event hosted by Atal Innovation Mission and NITI Aayog. The students in this regard were engaged in a hands-on project to design and build a vacuum cleaner by using everyday materials.
The activity was guided by a step-by-step instructional session streamed online, enabling students to learn scientific concepts and collaborate in real time no matter where they were.
Since its inception, Atal Innovation Mission has established over 10,000 Atal Tinkering Labs in schools that offer students access to tools like 3D printers, robotics kits, IoT devices, etc.
