BOKAKHAT: Assam’s Forest Department has invited boxer Lovlina Borgohain to become the brand ambassador of Kaziranga National Park. The Olympic medallist expressed her interest in the role while visiting the Kaziranga National Park.

According to reports, Lovlina Borgohain arrived in Kohora yesterday with her family to explore Kaziranga National Park. During a jeep safari in the Kohora Range of the park, she was mesmerized by its beauty. She admired the breathtaking natural scenery and wildlife, including the one-horned rhinoceros, elephants, deer, buffaloes, and various species of birds.

Expressing her thoughts, Lovlina stated, “Many people worldwide are eager to learn about Kaziranga’s one-horned rhinoceros. Kaziranga National Park, which is home to the largest population of one-horned rhinos and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a matter of pride for everyone.”

Accompanied by her mother, father, and elder sister, Lovlina further expressed her deep appreciation for the park, saying, “I feel proud that our state has such a globally-renowned national park. It attracts tourists from across the country and the world, who come here to witness its wildlife.” She also mentioned that if given the opportunity to become the brand ambassador of Kaziranga National Park, she would consider it an honour.
