DIBRUGARH: MDKG College, Dibrugarh, organized a one-day workshop on film-making on May 6, featuring Shrysh Zutshi, a distinguished filmmaker, actor, writer, producer, and founder of Dramaturge Pictures, Mumbai, as the resource person. The workshop aimed to provide students with insights into the film industry and explore career prospects in regional cinema.
During the workshop, Zutshi emphasized the scope of film-making as a self-reliant skill for students, highlighting its potential for generating business opportunities. He shared his expertise and experiences, offering valuable guidance to aspiring filmmakers.
The workshop was inaugurated by Principal Dr Anup Jyoti Bharali, Vice-Principal Dr Manashi Sharma, and coordinated by Dr Bornali Nath Dowerah, in collaboration with IQAC Coordinator Dr Ashwini Machey, Gender Champions Club, and ACTA MDKG College Unit.
Following the workshop, Zutshi participated in an interactive interview session with All India Radio, Dibrugarh, further sharing his insights and experiences with a broader audience. This initiative marks a significant milestone for MDKG College, being the first institution in the city to bring a resource person of Zutshi’s caliber from Mumbai to interact with students. The event was well-received, and students benefited greatly from the opportunity to learn from a renowned expert in the film industry.
