SILCHAR: On the second day of his visit to Barak Valley, Assam Cabinet Minister for Health & Family Welfare and Irrigation, Ashok Singhal, conducted an inspection of the Ayushman Arogya Mandir in Silcoorie and the Silcoorie Tea Estate Hospital in Cachar district.
During the visit, Minister Singhal reviewed the healthcare facilities at both centers, evaluating their infrastructure and services. He engaged with patients, doctors, and hospital staff to better understand the challenges faced by the healthcare workers and to identify areas for improvement in service delivery.
Assam Minister Ashok Singhal also chaired a review meeting with senior Health & Family Welfare officials at the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Cachar today. The meeting focused on assessing the ongoing healthcare initiatives in the district.
During the review, Minister Singhal directed officials to take immediate steps to strengthen medical infrastructure and enhance healthcare facilities across Cachar.
Meanwhile, Cabinet Minister Ashok Singhal recently addressed a roadshow in Kolkata, spotlighting the state's impressive growth, infrastructure advancements, and investment potential.
The event, held in anticipation of the upcoming Advantage Assam summit, focused on Assam's progress in green energy and its future development prospects. This follows a successful roadshow in Bengaluru, where Singhal also promoted the Advantage Assam 2.0 summit.
During the Kolkata roadshow, the Minister welcomed industry leaders, stakeholders, and investors, showcasing Assam’s opportunities across various sectors.
