
BENGALURU: Minister of Health and Family Welfare of Assam Ashok Singhal led a roadshow yesterday in Bengaluru as part of the promotional activities for the upcoming Advantage Assam 2.0 summit. The roadshow turned out to be a successful event.
During the event, the minister extended a warm welcome to industry leaders, stakeholders, and investors, showcasing Assam’s immense potential in various sectors. Highlighting the state’s strategic advantages and growth opportunities, Singhal invited attendees to join in the state’s transformative journey.
The roadshow served as a platform to foster collaboration and investment opportunities, reinforcing Assam’s position as a hub for business and innovation in Northeast India.
Meanwhile, earlier this month, in collaboration with the High Commission of India, the Assam government organized the Assam Investment Roadshow in London to promote the upcoming Advantage Assam 2.0 Investment and Infrastructure Summit that took place on February 25-26, 2025, in Guwahati. The roadshow was intended to attract international investors interested in Assam's potential in different sectors.
The key speakers in the event included Assam Minister of Industries and Commerce, Bimal Borah, who highlighted the strategic state location as an entry to Southeast Asia; while Deputy High Commissioner Sujit Ghosh elaborated on Assam's enormous natural resources, enhanced connectivity, and Government incentives as among the rapidly developed infrastructure and also compelling reasons to invest in it.
