NAGAON: The Nagaon Police has launched a continuous crackdown on drug traffickers in the district, which has become a hub for drug smuggling.

In a recent operation, the police arrested six drug suppliers from various locations under Nagaon Sadar Police Station area, including the Barghat, Haibargaon, and Itachali Police Outpost. The arrested traffickers were reportedly involved in a thriving drug trade in the district for a long time. The police are currently interrogating them. The Nagaon Police has been working to make the district drug-free.
