NALBARI: The Deputy Commissioner of Nalbari, Varnali Deka, IAS, led an important meeting with district officials to plan for the upcoming Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit. The discussions focused on working together to make the event successful and impactful in the district.

During the discussion, the Nalbari DC emphasized the need for seamless collaboration among various departments to showcase the district’s potential and contribute effectively to the larger vision of Advantage Assam 2.0. Officials deliberated on key aspects, including infrastructure readiness, promotional activities, and stakeholder engagement, to maximize the district’s participation and opportunities in the investment summit.

Advantage Assam 2.0 is a continuation of the state government’s flagship initiative to attract investments and promote Assam as a hub for business and economic growth. The event aims to bring together industry leaders, policymakers, and investors to explore avenues for development across various sectors.

Meanwhile, earlier this week, the external evaluation of Gunotsav 2025 had started in Nalbari on Wednesday. Officials had visited schools in the district to check the quality of education. Deputy Commissioner Varnali Deka, IAS, had visited PM Shri Ghograpar Secondary School, Nalbari, Assam, as an External Evaluator. 

During her visit, she had talked with students to check their learning progress through different activities and discussions. She had also spoken with teachers to learn about their teaching methods, classroom challenges, and ways to improve the school’s academic environment. The visit had aimed to understand how the school was doing and what needed improvement.
