Assam Nepali Sahitya Sabha observes foundation day in Jamugurihat

JAMUGURIHAT: The Jamugurihat branch of Assam Nepali Sahitya Sabha (ANSS) observed the 48th year of establishment of ANSS on January 4 at Gamiripal Natya Mandir here.

Dal Bahadur Chetry, a senior member of ANSS Jamugurihat branch, hoisted the institutional flag which was followed by a general meeting with Neel Bahadur Chetry, the president of Jamugurihat branch of ANSS, in the chair. Dr. Tilak Sarma, associate professor of THB College, attended the meeting as an appointed speaker and briefed about the history of ANSS' formation, present state and mission of ANSS in the days to come. The meeting was also attended by Bala Kumari Devi, Hun Adhikari, and other dignitaries.
