Assam Police Rescues Missing Mother And Daughter In Just 20 Hours

A 35-year-old woman and her 8-year-old daughter who went missing were tracked down in just 20 hours by the Assam police who swiftly launched a search operation to find them.

GUWAHATI: A 35-year-old woman and her 8-year-old daughter went missing, causing distress to their family. The Pragjyotishpur Police Station's CGPD team acted quickly and launched a search operation to find them. The team tracked the missing duo's movements and followed all available leads.

In just 20 hours, the officers successfully located and rescued the woman and her daughter, bringing them back to their family safely. The quick response from the police ensured the duo's well-being and reunited them with their family.

In a similar incident, Manju Devi Agarwal, a 65-year-old woman from Biswanath Chariali, who had gone missing from Mahakumbh in Prayagraj, was later found. According to family sources, she had lost her way and ended up at the Aghori Akhara, where she spent the night among sadhus.

An army personnel spotted her and took her to Prayagraj Railway Station. There, they managed to contact her family through a mobile phone and informed them about her whereabouts. Her family then made arrangements to reunite with her.

In another incident, a woman from Rajiv Gaon, identified as Nazima Begum, had gone missing from her husband's residence under Dhekiajuli Police Station earlier this month. Despite extensive searches by her family, there had been no trace of her, prompting her husband, Rowsan Ali, to file a missing person’s report at Dhekiajuli Police Station.
