SILCHAR: The office of the Additional District Commissioner in charge of the Postal Ballot Paper Cell informed that the schedule for casting votes through Postal Ballot Paper has been revised. Applicants who had earlier applied to exercise their franchise via postal ballot paper and were slated to vote on April 22 and 23 are hereby notified that the said schedule has now been deferred. The revised dates for casting votes through postal ballot paper are now April 24 and 25. This rescheduling has been undertaken to streamline and ensure a more effective and orderly process for the facilitation of postal voting during the ongoing Panchayat election, a district administration release said.
