Assam: Rally in Dibrugarh to pay homage to Pahalgam victims

DIBRUGARH: Sachetan Mahila Mancha, Dibrugarh on Monday took out a patriotic rally in Dibrugarh town to pay homage to the victims of the Pahalgam attack and also to express solidarity with the Armed Forces for achieving historic success during Operation Sindoor.

The rally was taken out from the Dibrugarh Old High School Playground and traversing through the main areas of the town culminated at the same venue.

State Power Minister and Dibrugarh MLA Prasanta Phukan, Dibrugarh Municipal Corporation (DMC) Mayor Dr Saikat Patra, Chairman of Assam Tourism Development Corporation Rituparna Baruah, senior doctor of AMCH Sreemanta Madhav Baruah, and a host of other dignitaries were present during the programme.

“We are proud of our Armed Forces. In Operation Sindoor, our armed forces have proved their capability and strength. For the success of Operation Sindoor, we congratulate our Armed Forces,” said a member of Sachetan Mahila Manch.
