A rare species of monitor lizard was rescued on Tuesday from a classroom at Komargaon Girls’ Higher Secondary School, under the Numaligarh Forest Range Office.

BOKAKHAT: A rare species of monitor lizard was rescued on Tuesday from a classroom at Komargaon Girls’ Higher Secondary School, under the Numaligarh Forest Range Office. The large-sized lizard caused panic among the students upon being spotted. Later, personnel from the Kaziranga Rescue Centre arrived and took the monitor lizard to the rescue center.
