BONGAIGAON: Manas National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Assam, has seen a rising influx of tourists which have contributed to the significant increase in revenue.

The popular tourist destination has attracted over 10,000 visitors including 500 international tourists, earning a staggering Rs. 33 lakh in revenue.

There is a whole host of adventurous activities that the tourists can choose from during their stay, including the likes of jeep safaris, elephant safaris, and river rafting. It provides an exhilarating experience for visitors from all around the world.

Tourists can grab the opportunity to explore the park’s breathtaking landscapes and catch a glimpse of the diverse wildlife that the park has to offer by trying out these interesting activities.

Many tourists and wildlife enthusiasts have flocked to the park’s various ranges, including Bansbari (Kahitam), Bhuyanpara, Panbari, and Kuklung. This steady increase in tourism shows the growing popularity of eco-tourism in the region.

Barin Boro, Ranger of the Bansbari Range, expressed his joy at the substantial increase in the number of visitors. He boasted about the park’s unique charm, encouraging more people to enjoy its serene beauty and urging them to include Manas National Park in their travel plans.
